雷鳥張子について
長野県の県鳥であり、国の特別天然記念物に指定されている雷鳥は、
一年を通して北アルプスなどの高山帯に暮らす鳥です。
手のひらに包み込める大きさの雷鳥張子は、
愛らしい雷鳥を想い中信地区の三人の作家がそれぞれの形でひとつひとつ手作りしています。
毎年夏毛、冬毛を年二回ずつ数を決めて制作、販売しています。

About
Raichō (Rock Ptarmigan), a prefectural bird of Nagano nationally designated as a special natural treasure, inhabits the alpine zone of the Northern Alps and other such places throughout the year.
Handful-sized, Raichō Hariko (papier‐mâché) are handmade and shaped individually by three craft artists from the Central Shinshu district ruminating on adorable Raichō.
We plan to make and sell 2 types of Raichō Hariko with winter plumage and summer plumage every year.
